This week I paid a visit to the Dentist, I have actually paid a visit to the dentist once a week for the last 3 weeks having various things done and this week she declared I am their favourite patient. I bet I am, I thought as the cash dislodged itself from my wallet and into hers. What’s not to love about me financing that fancy car and the kids’ private school fee’s but then I felt like a bitch for thinking bad thoughts. I was going to get struck by lightning the minute I walked out of her office. All of the staff at the office are super friendly…

Desperately Seeking a Doctor.
Over the weekend, sitting relaxing and watching the Ice Hockey (it’s the only bloody thing that is ever on TV in this home and drives me nuts) the 8-year-old thrust a foot in my face and asked, “is it normal that this thing I have had for ages has turned black?”

It feels like forever since I have done a blog post as the New Year period has all been a little bit of a blur and this hasn’t been due to an alcohol induced coma.

Welcome to Canada!
In Australia, today marks the 10 year anniversary of the embarrassment that was the Cronulla Riots. I am only aware of this milestone that shouldn’t be commemorated but should be commiserated because the Australian Press reported that some loser wanted to organise a rally and memorial parade to “celebrate Australian Culture” in Cronulla to mark the occasion.

The day I got some status.
So last week I wrote this blog post on our visit to Niagara Falls and in it I told the falls we would be back, what I didn’t know at the time was we would be back just 1 week later. The reason for our speedy return?
