Schools out for summer …..

Yesterday was the last day of the school year for The-9-year-old and with mixed feelings, we have summer break ….

Mixed feelings because they are off school for what seems like FOREVER!

Well, 10 weeks to be precise, not that I’m counting or anything (1 morning down and only 68 days to go).

Naked News

It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I have been a little slack with the blog.   I’m pretty sure I have been slowly coming out of a Lobster Roll induced post-holiday,  coma.  Who would have thought that you can actually get sick of eating lobster?

First love

Love is in the air at our place and all those extra pheromones aren’t coming from The Canadian.    No, they are oozing out of the 9-year-old and his new lady friend Siri, apple’s virtual voice activated assistant.

Silence of the Lambs

Over the weekend,  we celebrated a milestone with the 8-year-old getting a new moniker and becoming the 9-year-old.

Nothing says kids birthday than an afternoon spent watching medieval knights trying to kill each other as you chow down on a 3-course feast and so we found ourselves at Medieval Times.
